Right to Live Society (RLS) is a non-profit Palestinian organization whose main function is to provide specialized rehabilitative services and health care for Down’s Syndrome and Autism in the Gaza Strip. RLS is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Accountant to be based at its headquarter in the Gaza Strip
Position : Senior Accountant
.Providing and interpreting financial information •
.Monitoring and interpreting RLS cash flows and predicting future trends •
.Analyzing change and advising accordingly •
.Formulating strategic and long term financial plans•
.Researching and reporting on factors influencing Society performance •
.Responsible for bookkeeping and auditing of financial recorders•
.Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risks •
.Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities •
.Participating in procurement and tendering activities •
.Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out •
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers •
.and statutory
.Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines•
.Managing budgets •
.Arranging new sources of finance and fundraising•
.Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation •
Qualifications
.A bachelor’s degree in accounting •
.5 years experience in related field •
.Coping with the advancements in the field of Accountant •
Creative, innovative, decision making, containing others, communication and other public •
.relations skills, energetic
.Excellent command of spoken and written Arabic and English•
.Comfortable with the latest computer technology •
.Good experience in project management •
.Familiar with stakeholder, and good experience in international cooperation •
.Be creative thinkers and problem-solvers •
.Knowledge of international finance •
